CANCELLATIONS

We kindly ask you to give us at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or rearrange you appointment. Failure to do this will result in a fee of 50% of your booking and loss of any deposits paid

NO SHOWS

We appreciate things crop up last minute in our lives but in the event of not attending your appointment we would require 100% payment of your service that was booked. It causes us to have unused time and loss of money. We also have a waiting list of clients wanting to book the valuable time

CONSULTATIONS

All colour and extension appointments require a consultation before the day you come in. Our stylists at Ciannas Hair Lounge do this so we can plan your visit time and length to get the most from your appointment. This gives the chance for us to meet you and you to show your stylist any pictures and styles you like and you can both discuss options and determine if the look you desire is achievable

DEPOSITS

After your consultation we ask for a deposit to secure your appointment. For small colours appointments £30, any large colour appointments £50 or hair extensions appointments £100 so that we can order in your hair. These deposits are non refundable & will be deducted from your total bill on the day of appointment

PATCH TESTING

At Ciannas Hair Lounge we follow strict policies involving skin testing. We require you to have a skin test at least 48hrs before your colour. If you react, unfortunately we cannot carry out the service. If you have not had a colour in the salon in the last six months we will require another skin test

STRAND TESTING

We’d all love to have darker skin and lighter hair but sometimes it’s just not possible. In some cases a clients hair is not strong enough or has previously been lightened and therefore cannot proceed with any more lightening services until the hair is repaired. When our colourists see you for your consultation they may require a strand test to see if your hair will lighten and remain in healthy condition

EXTRA LONG / THICK

If you are lucky enough to have extra long or thick hair, please make us aware when you are booking so that we give our stylists enough time to complete your service. Colours and treatments will incur a surcharge for any extra product used and extra time taken

PARKING

Unfortunately we do not have our own car park however it is free to park on the high street for two hours. If you are in for a colour or large appointment we ask you to park at Sainsbury’s in Borough Field which is a two minute walk from the salon. It is a pay and display or can be paid on your phone
